01What this policy covers

This policy explains what NUDO LABS LLC (“NUDO LABS”, “we”, “us”) does with personal information when you visit this website or contact us through it.

It covers this website only. It does not cover any app we publish; each of those has its own policy.

02What we collect

One thing, and only if you give it to us:

• Your email address, when you submit the contact form.
• Anything you write to us afterward, in the emails we exchange.

That is the entire list. We do not ask for your name, your company, your phone number, or anything else.

03What we don't collect

This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for “preferences”. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

We run no analytics and no tracking pixels. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not know how many pages you looked at or where you came from.

The site loads no third-party resources — no external fonts, scripts, or embeds. Your browser talks to our server and to nobody else.

Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of operating the server. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

04Why we use it

To reply to you. That is the only purpose.

Under the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who contacts us about working together, and where a project follows, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

05Who we share it with

Nobody, in the sense that matters: we do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers.

Your email necessarily passes through the providers that host our website and run our email. They process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to deliver the service.

We will disclose information if the law requires it — a valid court order, subpoena, or equivalent legal process. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.

06How long we keep it

If we exchange a few emails and nothing comes of it, we delete the thread within 24 months.

If we end up working together, correspondence tied to that engagement is kept as long as the business relationship lasts, plus whatever period tax and accounting rules require of us.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy.
• Have it corrected if it is wrong.
• Have it deleted.
• Object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict that use.
• Receive it in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent, where we relied on consent.

These rights come from the GDPR if you are in the EU, the UK GDPR if you are in the UK, and state privacy laws such as the CCPA if you are in the United States. We apply them to everyone regardless of where you are, because maintaining two standards is not worth it.

Email legal@nudolabs.net and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Note for California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

08Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Email is held in a provider account protected by a strong, unique password and two-factor authentication.

We are a small studio and we will not pretend otherwise: no system is perfectly secure. What we can promise is that we hold very little about you, which is the most effective protection there is.

09International transfers

NUDO LABS LLC is a company registered in the United States, and the providers that host our site and email may store data in the United States or elsewhere.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your information may be transferred outside your region. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their information, write to us and we will delete it.

11Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
